This is such a great  capture to begin with, light in the distance, foliage, the hint of a stream below, and, in the foreground, the silhouettes of a scraggly bare tree and an imperious raven brooding over his domain. Wonderful composition, lots to look at. As always, Roger’s apping is impeccable. When I say wonderful, I mean full of wonder. But you know that.

This picture reminded me of a movie I saw when I was a kid: “The Raven” starring Vincent Price, so I thought I would find a clip from the movie to go with the picture … looked at a bunch … this clip isn’t strictly “The Raven,” but lots of fun, just like the Roger’s picture.
