Here are some pictures sent from Maddy McCoy from the opening of the “Divergent Mediums” show that opened the other night. As you can see, Curator Hiji Nam paired iphonic art images, mostly from P1xels’ artists, with those of professional photographers. You can read the mission statement for the exhibition here.
Many thanks to Hiji Nam, the curator, the Torpedo Factory Art Center, and all the artists involved. A great show! And thank you, Maddy and Greg for sending pictures!

Intro to show
Gazing at Art with a capital A
They used to make torpedoes at the Torpedo Factory!
It’s a great show, and I was happy to be able to make a contribution. Hiji did an excellent job curating the show, and I think the work is all very strong — “traditional” and iPhone alike.

All captions are in. I trust people will alert me to any mistakes. Really don’t have to worry about that, has been my experience. :)
