Paul Toussaint ~ iScapes

Paul Toussaint - IScapes

Photogragher Paul Toussaint’s Mobile Master talents have taken him around the world so to speak.  His images have been showcased and exhibited in galleries around the USA and Europe, on numerous Internet sites, and now they are included in a new ebook on iPhoneography. Soon, we will all have the pleasure of viewing the images and meeting Toussaint in person.

On March 1st, the Quinebaug Valley Council for the Arts and Humanities (QVCAH) is proud to host the opening reception of Paul Toussaint’s masterpieces. The public is invited from 5-9 p.m. to meet the artist and discuss his work.

QVCAH first learned of Toussaint’s images during their Photofest.  His images won First Place for a piece titled Gramercy View and he claimed The People’s Choice Award for his elegant Early Morning Fog.  Mark Ashton of the Southbridge Evening News wrote Toussaint, who has, perhaps, the greatest range of styles and creative influences in the exhibit, even uses a cell phone for his amazingly evocative impressions.  After the Photofest, Toussaint agreed to the upcoming solo exhibit and donate a portion of the proceeds to aid homeless animals. The images will remain on display from March 1st to April 8th during which time Toussaint is available for private showings, classes, and workshops by contacting the artist himself.

The QVCAH’s is gallery located at 111 Main Street in Southbridge, MA.

  1. Thank You so much.. did I meet you there? if so I am sorry it was a wild night, if you want to come.. just email me or cal me and I’ll open the gallery

  2. I went with other people and we all agreed that this exhibit was outstanding. Mr. Toussaint took several images: 1. Life 2. Leather, Levis & Wings and 3. Back to School and printed them on glass pieces which were each assembled into a 3′ x 3′ grid and joined together by metal rings. Next, the entire assembly hung from a decorative metal rod. These took my breath away and became my new favorites. It took me a while to convince my daughter that Early Morning Fog and Beach Blanket printed on canvas were NOT paintings. A beautiful image of flowers on a wooden block called Pink became her favorite. A friend chose Uncle Vinny and the Memorial Day Parade as two wants on his wish list. A very nice treat was to have an iPad streaming Dan Marcolina’s iPad App/book titled Mobile Masters Crossing The Threshold. On it, we were able to view Toussaint’s and other iphonegraphers’ perspectives on iPhonic art, scroll through some of their finest work, and find out which Apps they use on a particular image. Last night, the whole gallery breathtaking images everywhere you turned with the widest range of subject matter, applications, and presentations for a collection of iPhone images that I’ve ever seen. I’ll go back before April 8th.
