Washington Post review of the P1xels’ “Divergent Mediums” show at the Torpedo Factory

End of the line by Paul Moore

Great review here by Michael O’Sullivan.

And maybe that’s the show’s real point: Pictures taken with an iPhone aren’t inherently better or worse — just different — than those taken with a camera. Maybe it makes sense to give the art form its own name, along with its own identity, its own standards and aesthetics.

It is, after all, its own thing.

In the end, “Diverging Mediums: Photography vs. iPhoneography” isn’t so much a contest as the beginning of a conversation.

I’m Knox Bronson, and I approve of this message. In fact, I’ve been saying the same thing for two-and-a-half years!

Also, here is the gallery on their mobile site. Can’t find it on the regular site.
