This has such an amazing retro European feel. Beautiful girl, stuck in car, bored as hell, somewhere in the south of France, somewhere, gazing absently at camera person. Who would leave her waiting in the car? I love how Laura has desaturated the image—color would distract— and used a slight tilt-shift to focus on the girl and the geometric bas-relief on the concrete wall beyond, which is just a perfect element here. A lovely shot, capturing an ephemeral moment of young girl’s life.
