Knox’s as always. Honored to be selected as the daily pic. Many thank you’s.

The image was taken at the “Oaklavia” festival in Oakland a couple of weekend’s ago. They close three miles of streets circumnavigating Lake Merritt to car traffic and have a lot of festivities going on. People just took over the streets.

The band was a Mamba band with an army of dancing girls behind them. They sounded great. When the little girl ran into frame, I thought I might have something interesting.

I’ll send you image dancing girls behind the band. Don’t know that’s good enough for posting on P1xels, but at least you’ll see what it looked like.
