I’ll be honest … I kind of see a bird in flight, a fractal after-image bird at that, but mostly I see a wave. Of course, I have Waves on my mind, The Third Wave shows coming up.

I really do love this image, bird, wave, abstract solid motion, whatever it conjures up in the eye of the viewer at any moment. I have no idea how Lisa did this or what the source material was. Beautiful composition! It’s a great use of texturing and the colors remind me ever so slightly of Hokusai’s timeless woodcut, The Great Wave off Kanagawa.
